Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Smart Fortwo- Video
All right today in this 2013 Smart Car ForTwo, we're going to install part number 18252 from Tow Ready. OK, to start off our install, we need to get access to a wiring harness, so open the back hatch and the tailgate. Then we're going to remove two panels, one on each side. And then the floor panel, the bottom, well lift up as well. Then we'll take our wire harness and route it from underneath the plastic to the inside of the corner panel on the driver's side first. Then we'll go ahead and locate our wire harness. It's going to be the wires plugged directly into the taillight. So we'll go ahead and disconnect the connector from the taillight. Now we'll go ahead and test our wires. more
